Assessing a Realizing AI in Government

The 24th Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research (dg.o 2023) will take place on 11-14 July 2023 in Gdańsk, Poland. The special focus is digital government and solidarity in the unstable world. The conference’s main organizer is the Department of Informatics in Management, Faculty of Management and Economics, Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland.

The dg.o conference series is an established forum for presentation, discussion, and demonstration of interdisciplinary research on digital government, ICT and public administration, political participation, civic engagement, technology innovation, applications, and practice.

Each year the conference brings together scholars recognized for the interdisciplinary and innovative nature of their work, their contributions to rigor of theory and relevance of practice and their focus on important and timely topic.

Building on the “AI Watch. European landscape on the use of Artificial Intelligence by the Public Sector” we wrote a paper titled “The challenges of AI implementation in the public sector. AI in-depth case study analysis” together with Colin van Noordt. The paper analysed the challenges of AI implementation in the public sector, and has been presented in the Track: Assessing a Realizing AI in Government.
